Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Interventional Cardiologist to join our dedicated, hospital-employed practice. As the only cath lab in the Florida Keys, this is a rare opportunity to step into an established patient base, with year-over-year growth potential. Practice Highlights & Clinical Operations

  • The Volume: Manage an established patient base while growing your practice
  • Procedures: Focused on "bread and butter" interventions.
  • The Team: Work alongside 2 hospital-based Interventional Cardiologists and 1 General Cardiologist, heavily supported by a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in the clinic.
  • Efficiency & Tech: Drive your day efficiently with Athena EMR in the clinic, Medhost EMR in the hospital, and state-of-the-art efficiency tools including Dragon Dictation and Suki AI Scribe.
  • The Setup: Utilize 3 dedicated exam rooms with on-site clinic imaging (Echo). The clinic is located a seamless 2 miles (an 8-minute drive) from the hospital.

Hospital Setting & Services

  • 1 dedicated, fully equipped Cath Lab.
  • Comprehensive on-site cardiac services including CT, MRI, and in-hospital Echo (with Pediatric Echo launching soon).
  • 10-bed ICU supported by an excellent on-site Hospitalist team.
  • Robust specialty support including Orthopedics, ENT, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Outpatient Psychiatry, and General Surgery.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: This position is not open to new graduates; a minimum of 2–3 years of post-fellowship practice experience is preferred.
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a desire to be actively involved with inpatient care and community outreach to sustain an already thriving, built-in primary care referral base.
