Location: Marietta, GA (30 minutes from ATL)

Hospital Info: Level II Trauma, 662 beds

​

Openings: Currently have 5 open MD positions

​

Start: As soon as credentialed

​

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

​

Shifts: 12-hour in-house shifts. (days or nights) And offer some 15-hour and 24-hour onsite coverage

​

Volume:

EGS typical census: 20-35 patients

AM case loads: approx. 3-4 cases

PM Case loads: 1-2 cases overnight

EGS consults (24hrs): Avg 10 consultations/intraop consultations

Trauma Floor census: 15-25

Trauma ICU/Stepdown census: 15

Approx. 3600 trauma activations/year

Approx. 2-3 operative traumas/wk

Job Details:

• The ideal candidate would have some consistent experience with L1 trauma outside of their residency and/or fellowship. Will essentially function as an L1 trauma attending as a locum
• They currently support a surgical residency across 5 years of training. All locum providers would interact directly with their own surgical residents in addition to other physicians training in various specialties.
• APP support
• EMR: EPIC
• Must be board certified with recent trauma case logs
• Must have an active GA license or active IMLC
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
