The Dell Medical School in conjunction with Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, is seeking Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit physicians to be part of the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. These physicians will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional pediatric population in Central Texas to deliver world class pediatric heart care.

Candidates will possess experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Primary responsibilities will include oversight and provision of direct care to patients in the mixed PICU/PCICU as well as the critical care team responsible for taking care of these patients. Candidates will also participate in coordinated outreach efforts for the Center.

A successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School and regular participation in educational activities with medical students and residents will be expected. Opportunities for collaboration with medical and adjunct specialties will be encouraged to allow for the pursuit of innovative program development and clinical research initiatives.
