Full-time position starting as soon as possible, ideally by the end of September or early October, initially for six months with potential for extension. The job requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 7AM-4PM, with rotating weekday calls from 4PM-7AM and 24-hour weekend calls. Located in a small hospital focusing on bread-and-butter cases, the role involves various service lines such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, ENT, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, and Urology, but excludes OB cases. Our Level 1 Trauma medical center does not require supervisory duties or include CNRAs, and uses the Epic EMR system. Candidates must be board certified, holding an active ME license or IMLC, with compensation covering malpractice, orientation, various hourly rates, and travel expenses. Please note that there is no visa waiver available for this position.
