Position Highlights:
- Immediate patient volume with growing practice
- State-of-the-art cancer center; COC-accredited; ASCO-certified
- Experienced, collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners
- On-site infusion pharmacy; oral oncology pharmacist; PET/CT; Paxman scalp cooling; grant-funded nutrition station; 18 chair infusion center
- On-site support staff include dedicated nurse navigators, dietitian, social worker, financial navigator, triage nurse, RN coordinator, and LPN or MA
- 50/50 hematology and oncology case mix
- 3:1 call
- Epic EMR and Dax CoPilot
Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose blood disorders and cancers
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
- Manage side effects and complications
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with other specialists
- Educate and support patients
- Deliver an exceptional level of attention and care to all patients
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers
Location:
- This is a full-time position located within the Delbert Day Cancer Institute at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri.
