  • Indian Health Services is seeking a CMO (Clinical Director/Chief of Medical Staff) in Parker, AZ. Must be BC to provide patient care services in their specialty.     Position Details: Serve as the Executive Physician for the Colorado River Service Unit, stationed at the Critical Access Hospital site (Parker Indian Health Center) in Parker, AZ. Position is average of 75% administrative/25% clinical. Supervise the Department Chairs, lead the medical staff, and provide planning and oversite for the medical division. Onsite services include Primary Care, Hospitalists, ED, Dental, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Behavioral Health, Nutrition, Radiology, and Lab.

    Parker Indian Health Center is a Joint-Commission accredited Critical Access Hospital within the Colorado River Service Unit that includes clinics in Peach Springs, AZ; Supai, AZ; Chemehuevi, CA; and Moapa, NV.

    Compensation Details

    $250-375k

    While salary is an important consideration, IHS provides many other forms of compensation that significantly contribute to your overall experience and make IHS a competitive employer. This concept of “Total Compensation” includes not only salary, but also the benefits, awards, leave, retirement and other incentives you may receive as part of a rewarding work environment. Generous federal benefits add 30% over salary to the compensation package. Competitive salary based on experience; regular salary increases and yearly cost of living adjustments. IHS/NHSC loan repayment: $50,000/2 year term, can renew on a yearly basis. Public Service Loan Forgiveness - all remaining Direct Loans forgiven after 10yrs/120 payments.
