    Job Description:

    The OB-GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for delivering high-quality inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, including:

    • Providing OB Emergency Department (OB ED) coverage
    • Managing obstetric emergencies and OB triage cases
    • Evaluating and managing inpatient obstetric patients
    • Attending deliveries (with a low volume, due to community OB support)
    • Assisting in gynecologic and obstetric surgeries
    • Monitoring fetal well-being and managing labor progression
    • Working in private labor and delivery suites with access to MFM specialists
    • Collaborating with pediatric subspecialists and supporting a Level III NICU, operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
    • Ensuring 24-hour in-house hospitalist coverage

    Certification Requirements

    • Board Certified
    • Board Eligible

    State License Requirements

    • California

    Additional License Requirements

    • Board Certified in OB-GYN, Truly Board Eligible in OB-GYN within 5 years of residency), California State License

    Compensation Details

    As a full-time employee, you’ll enjoy access to a robust suite of benefits for you and your family, including: This practice pays $170/hour. A full-time position averages seven to eight 24-hour shifts per month (2190 hours annually). Six shifts per month would be the minimum to qualify for benefits (1728 hours annually).
