• Adult male correctional facility; general population, lower custody levels
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care
• Provides clinical supervision to mid-level practitioners

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a–5p
• Full-time with predictable hours
• Starts this fall, early assignments still available

Cases and Procedures

• Psychiatric, physical, and neurological evaluations
• Participation in due process proceedings (e.g. involuntary medication)
• General psychiatric management; forensic experience not require

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry (within 5 years)
• Active Texas license preferred; open to IMLC psychiatrists
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• All travel costs covered: airfare, rental car, lodging, mileage
• Texas-based candidates preferred for ease of clearance
