Pediatric Urologist - Louisville, KY

This is an Academic Urologic position with Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine with full academic appointment within the Department of Urology at the University of Louisville. We are seeking a board-certified, board-eligible, fellowship-trained pediatric urologist for a full or part-time faculty position. The position will allow flexibility in role development, personalization of clinical practice, and will accommodate protected time for research and/or academic enrichment pursuit for new Fellowship graduates and more established pediatric urologist candidates (leadership, quality improvement and patient safety, development of multidisciplinary programs) in a growing division.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric urology clinical care, including outpatient, inpatient, and operative services
• Mentor medical students and residents
• Support advancement of research, education, and clinical missions in collaboration with our current faculty

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or board eligible in Urology and subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Urology
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and track record of scholarly productivity or leadership in clinical programs, education, or research appropriate to the desired rank and track
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatric Urology
• Experience with da Vinci robot-assisted surgery
• Strong record of mentorship and contributions to academic citizenship

The practice also utilizes telemedicine and electronic medical records with remote use.
