How you'll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team of 2 physicians and 3 APPs
* Call structure: 7pm-7am - two shifts a week on rotation (weekends will be included)
* Practice setting: Provide high-level care across specialized units, including Cardiovascular, Neurologic, and Trauma Intensive Care Units
* Leverage the resources of a Level 1 Trauma Center and specialized ICU wings using the Sunrise EMR system.
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Practice Provider
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Clinical Excellence: Drive clinical outcomes by admitting and consulting on critically ill patients and performing advanced invasive procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, and intubation.
* Enhanced Response: Lead and support life-saving efforts by attending codes within assigned units and assisting with rapid response calls.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
