South Carolina Pathology Assignment with Weekday Hours
Practice Setting
- Inpatient and outpatient mix
- Adult patient population
- Hospital-based setting with lab support
- Opportunity to handle both clinical and anatomic cases
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Only occasional weekend 24-hr call (8a–8a)
- No night shifts during the week
- Short-term and ongoing coverage needs available
Procedures and Cases
- Frozen sections required
- Wide specimen mix: biopsies, blood, urine
- Diagnostic focus on adult pathology
Requirements
- BC/BE in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (within 5 years of residency)
- Active South Carolina license required
- BLS required
- Minimum 36 months of experience
Credentialing Requirements
- Credentialing takes 60-90 days
- Temp privileges available
