Community & Facility Information

This Regional Float NP role covers LewisGale Regional Health System's full western Virginia footprint — from the Roanoke Valley to the New River Valley to the Alleghany Highlands, all connected along the I-81 corridor. It's a rare chance to work across a full spectrum of care settings, from full-service medical centers to freestanding EDs, without leaving one regional system.

The region itself is a big draw: Blue Ridge Mountain views, the Appalachian Trail, New River, and Smith Mountain Lake all within reach, alongside the small-city energy of Roanoke and the college-town feel of Blacksburg (Virginia Tech). Low cost of living, short commutes, and easy access to outdoor recreation year-round.

• LewisGale Medical Center (Salem) — including Cave Spring ER and Blue Hills ER (FSEDs)
• LewisGale Hospital Pulaski
• LewisGale Hospital Alleghany
• LewisGale Hospital Montgomery — including Christiansburg FSED

Requirements:

• FNP-C w/ 3 + yrs ER experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Virginia Medical License and DEA
