Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Dalton, GA

Vitruvian Health (formerly known as Hamilton Health Care System) and Peeples Cancer Institute (PCI) are recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist.

Peeples Cancer Institute is the region's largest cancer facility a newly constructed 46,000 sq. ft., 4-story building that houses the latest technology and a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate and state-of-the-art cancer treatment under ONE roof, serving oncology patients of Northwest Georgia.

Qualified candidates:

1. Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
2. Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
3. Ability to work as a team member
4. Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care

Cancer Institute Overview:

1. Monday-Thursday, 8-5 and Friday 8-12
2. 2 medical oncologists, 3 Radiation oncologists, 1 Radiologist, and 3 Nurse practitioners
3. Currently 2 medical oncologists with volume to support 3-4 medical oncologists
4. 26 infusion bays, 9 clinical exam rooms, and radiation oncology on 1st floor
5. Clinical trials affiliation with Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University
6. Comprehensive labs with same day turnaround
7. EMR: EPIC
8. Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency programs
