Electrophysiologist (EP) – Locums (specific weeks scheduled in advance)

Start Date: February 2 Contract Length: Ongoing (specific weeks scheduled in advance) Schedule: 7:00am–5:00pm with 1-hour lunch

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Cath Lab
• In-office outpatient clinic
• 268-bed hospital
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities

• Clinic volume: 20–22 adult patients per day
• Cath Lab:
• 3–4 inpatient hospital consults per day
• 4–6 EP cases daily (case volume varies by complexity)
• Focus on cardiac electrophysiology and heart rhythm disorders
• High emphasis on EP ablations

Procedural & Technical Requirements

• Must have 100 EP cases in the last 2 years, with documented emphasis on ablations (case logs required)
• Comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
• Must perform TEEs
• Experience with Abbott EnSite X Mapping System required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Arizona medical license or IMLC
• Minimum 1 year EP experience
