  • The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor level commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.

    · Focus primarily on exceptional clinical care of patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.

    · Practice alongside numerous colleagues who are experts in classical Hematology. The breadth and depth of this robust team offers a diverse group of colleagues.

    · Must be interested in identifying and enrolling patients for clinical trials

    · The practice sees both sides of the spectrum – you will need to be comfortable with a practice that includes minor hematological disorders along with tough, challenging cases

    · E-consults are part of the practice, mentoring is available

    Qualifications

    Applicants must have:

    · MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)

    · Completion of a fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology (or foreign equivalent)

    · Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington

    Clinical experience with classical hematology (especially disorders of coagulation and cellular hematology) will be prioritized; translational research experiences and interests will also be considered.

    Compensation Details

    $315-400k

    Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience. This position is Incentive eligible. This position is eligible for relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonus.
