Quick Facts

• Night shift -- 6 pm - 6 am
• 8 - 15 trauma patients per day
• Trauma center with adult and pediatric stabilization
• OR first assist responsibilities
• Rounding in ICU and floor units for trauma service
• ER consults required
• 90% blunt trauma, 10% penetrating trauma cases
• Coverage needed for multiple weeks between August and February
