Northwest Medical Center Houghton is seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join its Hospital Medicine team in Tucson, Arizona. This opportunity offers flexible employment options (W-2, 1099, full-time, part-time, or PRN) within a collaborative, physician-led inpatient environment supported by strong clinical teams and residency programs. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients
- Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in our Transitional Year Residency Program and fully accredited Internal Medicine Program
- Enjoy a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts and 24-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform procedures
- Able to work in an open ICU

Northwest Medical Center – Houghton is a 44-bed acute care hospital serving east Tucson. The hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology with cardiac catheterization, orthopedics, minimally invasive surgery, tele-neurology, gastrointestinal and pulmonary services, and women’s health services, including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital is part of Northwest Healthcare’s integrated network of hospitals and physician practices in Southern Arizona.
