Hospitalist Needed in Washington

Locum Hospitalist needed in Washington, near Spokane International Airport, for full-week 24-hour coverage blocks, including patient rounding and offsite call

Highlights

• Credentialing support for 7/7 start
• 24-hour shifts with minimal overnight call volume
• Critical procedures covered by CRNA

Practice Setting

• 15-bed acute facility with additional swing and OB beds
• Daily hospital census averages 7 patients
• Subspecialty support from CRNA, OB, ED, and surgery

Schedule

• 7-day blocks — 24-hour shifts from 7a to 7a
• Round in the morning and pager call coverage remainder of shift
• Dates still available in September

Cases and Procedures

• Paracentesis and thoracentesis required
• Backup for OB newborn care (OB on call 24/7)
• No ICU, no vent management, intubation rarely required

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Washington license required
• ACLS and ATLS skills expected; must support ED in trauma/code scenarios
• Minimum 12 months experience

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all reimbursed
