  • Indian Health Service is seeking BE/BC FT/PT Family Medicine Physicians at various sites in AZ, to provide care to an underserved Native American population.     Practice Details: Choose a site that allows Family Medicine physicians the chance to do it all - full-spectrum services, flexible schedules, potential to work outpatient, inpatient, and in the community. Or choose to focus on outpatient primary care in a patient-centered medical home, with no call, weekends, evenings, or holidays.

    All sites are supported by onsite BH, Dental, Nutrition, Optometry, PT, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Lab. PCPs average 12 appts/d, 4-day workweek available at various clinic sites. Opportunity for personal and professional growth, support from seasoned peers, and leadership potential.

    - Phoenix Indian Medical Center, in Phoenix AZ, is the largest hospital in the IHS, offering adult-based FM clinic positions, including working as a float physician, or intermittent work.

    - Parker Indian Health Center, near Lake Havasu, and Fort Yuma Health Center, on the AZ/CA border, provide flexible FM clinic positions.

    Compensation Details

    $210-275k

    Generous federal benefits, adding 30% over salary to the compensation package. Competitive salary based on experience; regular salary increases and yearly cost of living adjustments. IHS/NHSC loan repayment: $50,000/2 year term, can renew on a yearly basis. Public Service Loan Forgiveness - all remaining Direct Loans forgiven after 10yrs/120 payments. Excellent health benefits, with choice among multiple national plans.
