    About Us

We are a leading women’s health care provider in the San Francisco Bay Area, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered obstetrics and gynecology services to a diverse population. At Stanford Children's Hospital, we are a community teaching service for the Stanford residents, and serve as adjunct clinical faculty. In this focused hospitalist role, you will exclusively care for our patients, averaging 3 to 4 deliveries per day. Teaching is central to our mission - residents are actively involved in all aspects of our obstetric service, providing rich opportunities for mentorship and education.

We maintain strong collaboration with subspecialty services (maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology) and support trainees, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Our outpatient services are based at well supported county facilities and provide prenatal care for our OB service, as well as full service gynecology services.

What makes us different from other hospitalist jobs? Our residents are the first point of contact with the patients and nursing. We are responsible for our service only, not every laboring patient, and while we are busy enough that you will be in house for most of your time, it is only a requirement for patients in active labor.
