Location: Multiple hospitals in NC
Start Date: As soon as Credentialed
Schedule: 7a-7p, or 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a
What are some of the goals of the Neurology programs:
1.) Decreasing door to needle time for acute stroke patients and quick triage/assessment of patients requiring endovascular interventions.
2.) Raising the severity of illness managed in the ED and inpatient setting, including EEG interpretations and facilitating transfers to higher levels of stroke care.
3.) Bringing a much-needed clinical service line that the hospital simply cannot offer.
What type of hospitals use your Neurology services?
The type of hospitals that we practice Neurology varies, but typically they include 1 of 3 types of hospitals:
1.) Rural Hospitals with ADC (Average Daily Census) of 35-70 and an ICU ADC of 6-10 with an ICU bed capacity of 10-12.
2.) Mid-Size urban hospital (150-250 beds).
3.) Established comprehensive stroke centers (including stand-alone emergency departments).
