Brown University Health, the affiliated partner of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has an opening for a board-certified or eligible Anesthesiologist. Working at Rhode Island Hospital & The Miriam Hospital, we provide advanced skills in pediatrics, cardiac, critical care medicine, and regional anesthesia for a vast array of surgeries. We are extremely proud to have a residency program and are expanding our academic mission. We are actively recruiting anesthesiologists to join us as generalists and regional specialists.
About the job:
- Join 47 other Anesthesiologists, 56 anesthesia residents and 39 CRNAs
- Option to teach with an academic appointment to Brown University
- We are an academic group that balances work and lifestyle - work <50 hours/week
- No 24-hour in-house call
- We offer a predictable work schedule
- Work in one dedicated site or across several hospitals
- Our surgical service line includes neuro, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, trauma, multiple ambulatory sites and a robust acute pain and regional service line
- The department chair is supportive and works hard to create a collegial environment friendly to researchers, clinicians & teachers
