Locums - Urology - Texas (2 hours from Dallas, TX)

Hospital Details: 174-bed hospital, Level IV trauma

​

Start:  July, ongoing

*The hospital prefers a minimum of 2 weeks/month but will consider one week/month

​

Shift & Call Details: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p + weeknight call (optional weekend call)

​

Credentialing Timeframe:  30 days.. Can issue temps quicker if the provider has a clean background

​

Job Details:

• Setting: Clinic & Hospital
• Clinic Days - Mon & Wed
• OR Days - Tues/Thurs/Fri
• Hospital consults and call coverage during the week (Optional weekend call at this time)
• Avg 6-8 cystos in clinic each clinic day
• Avg 3-8 cases in the OR each day
• Will have NP and PA. One FT NP and one PA 2 days per week. NP (more experienced) sees 18 patients a day.  PA sees 15 patients a day. NP does uroflows in clinic on Tues and Thurs and does 6-8 per day
• NP provides backup call in the ED for minor issues
• Epic EMR
• Robotics is not required, but they do have it available. They have Intuitive robot, blue light laser, holmium laser for HOLEP
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
