Position Overview

SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Emergency Center-Alon - EM. • Patient Volume: 10K Annual ED Volume
• Coverage Model: 2 Physician shifts per day (6a-6p, 6p-6a)
• Number of Beds: 10 bed freestanding ED
• EMR: EPIC
• Admissions/Transfers: 7% Admission Rate

Qualifications

• Education: Emergency Medicine residency training
• Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
• Board Certification: Must be board eligible/board certified
• Experience: Residents welcome to join our team post-residency

• About CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Emergency Center-Alon - EM: CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Emergency Center - Alon is a freestanding emergency department that offers the appeal of a community based emergency setting backed by the resources of the broader CHRISTUS Health System. Physicians and patients benefit from access to system-wide specialty support, streamlined transfers, and established referral pathways when higher-acuity care is needed. The freestanding model provides an efficient workflow and positive patient experience while maintaining 24/7 emergency capabilities such as 24/7 ultrasound, CT and radiology services.
