Key Responsibilities * Clinical leadership: provide clinical oversight and mentorship to hospitalists and other medical professionals within the department * Quality improvement: develop and implement quality initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational efficiency * Strategic planning: collaborate with hospital leadership in long-term planning, workforce development, and resource management * Team development: facilitate ongoing professional development, training, and performance evaluations of hospitalist staff * Collaboration: foster positive relationships with nursing, case management, and specialty service lines to promote interdisciplinary care

Qualifications * MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school * Board certified in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) * Previous leadership or administrative experience is preferred but not required * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
