The Opportunity
DeTar Healthcare System and Victoria Cancer Center are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a thriving outpatient-only practice in Victoria, Texas. Just a two-minute walk from DeTar Hospital Navarro, our cancer center opened its doors three years ago and is expanding to meet growing patient demand. This is an employed opportunity with a competitive compensation package and no call responsibilities.
Practice Highlights

Outpatient only

Clinic schedule:
– Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
– Friday: Half day -
No call / No weekends

– Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
– PET/CT Scanner
– Aria EMR -
Newly renovated space:
– 2 dedicated exam rooms for Radiation Oncology
– Soon expanding to 14 infusion bays -
Support team:
– 2 Hematology/Oncology physicians
– 2 MAs, Receptionist
– Contracted Dosimetrist & Physicist (Varian)
– 2 Radiation Therapists -
Bread and butter Radiation Oncology with occasional IORT (Intraoperative Radiation Therapy)
