How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team of physicians and APPs (including NNPs, PAs, and PNPs)
* Call structure: In-house night call at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent Carmel
* Practice setting: Inpatient (Level III and Level IV NICUs)
* Access to NeoData EMR, a 109 private-room Level IV NICU, telehealth capabilities for regional nurseries, and a comprehensive network of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Provide coverage and high-level clinical service for neonates admitted to Level III and IV intensive care units, including day-time attending duties, high-risk delivery attendance, and consultation with high-risk obstetric patients.
* Provide clinical oversight, teaching, and mentorship to pediatric residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers while collaborating on network-wide quality improvement initiatives.
* Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
