Section Chief of Body Imaging - Academic Hospital

We are seeking a dynamic Section Chief of Body Imaging to lead the Body Imaging department of a prestigious academic hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role with strong institutional support, robust clinical programs, and world-class academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and develop the Body Imaging Department, including clinical, operational, and academic initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with liver transplant, GI, and oncology programs.
• Provide high-level interpretation of body CT and MRI studies (including niche liver and GI cases).
• Participate in clinical teaching for residents and medical students.
• Foster a collegial and academic-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship-trained in Body Imaging is highly preferred
• Liver imaging expertise is strongly preferred due to advanced transplant and GI programs
• Proven experience or strong potential in leadership (prior section chief experience not required)
