In partnership with Mat-Su Regional Medical Center an established practice is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join a practice in Palmer, Alaska. The incoming physician will join a growing region with strong referral patterns, excellent reimbursement potential, and access to an outdoor lifestyle unmatched anywhere in the country.

Position Highlights

  • Mixed inpatient/outpatient neurology practice
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Shared EMTALA call coverage: approximately 5 days per month
  • Advanced Primary Stroke Center affiliation
  • APP support available
  • Strong referral network and community demand

Clinical Responsibilities

  • General neurology care in both clinic and hospital settings
  • EEG interpretation required
  • EMG/NCS required
  • Participation in stroke/tPA call coverage
  • In-person call responsibilities
  • No ICU coverage required
  • No teaching or research obligations

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $350,000 – $400,000
  • Relocation assistance up to $20,000
  • Student loan repayment: $10,000 annually for 3 years
  • PTO offered
  • Additional compensation and benefit details to be determined by the employing organization
  • Visa sponsorship potentially available

Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is a 125-bed acute care hospital in Palmer, Alaska, serving the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and surrounding communities. The hospital offers comprehensive services including emergency care, cardiac care, advanced surgical and robotic-assisted procedures, inpatient behavioral health, wound care, women’s and family health, diagnostic imaging, and urgent care. Mat-Su Regional is a Level III Trauma Center accredited for stroke and chest pain care and supports coordinated care close to home.
