Practice Setting

• Level III trauma center
• Physician-led anesthesia model
• 13 operating rooms plus endoscopy and OB suites
• Cardiac, OB, trauma, and spine services onsite

Schedule

• 8 or 10-hour weekday shifts
• Light weekday call rotation
• Weekend call with 30-minute response time
• Schedule out blocks in advance once established

Cases and Procedures

• General anesthesia including ortho, GI, urology, and general surgery
• OB epidurals and cesarean sections
• Cardiac and vascular cases
• Healthy pediatric cases only

Requirements

• Board Certified Anesthesiology Physician
• Active Iowa license or IMLC in hand
• ACLS, BLS
