Locums Gastroenterology Physician - North Carolina
This North Carolina assignment offers flexible monthly coverage and credentialing in as few as 30 days.
Highlights
- Long-term locums assignment — 1-2 weeks per month
- Call is 1:2 and light — mostly consults
- ERCP/EUS optional with premium rates

Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
- Adults only — no APP support
- Full-scope GI preferred but not required
- Clinic and hospital GI lab coverage
Schedule
- 1–2 weeks per month — you choose the blocks
- Morning clinic every Tuesday and Wednesday
- Remaining time for scopes, consults, and call
- Dates still available from July through December
Cases and Procedures
- General GI with consults and lab-based procedures
- 12–16 patients per day
- ERCP and EUS optional — paid at higher rate
- Minimal emergent procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active North Carolina license and DEA required
- Current BLS
