City of Hope Medical Group Seeks Radiation Oncologist to Join Department of Radiation Oncology

(San Bernardino, CA)

The Department of Radiation Oncology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a general Radiation Oncologist who will contribute their skills in healthcare system leadership to practice at our network sites in [San Bernardino][1] and [Riverside][2] .

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 450+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center, in highly desirable Southern California, within one of the largest radiation oncology departments in the nation.

Qualifications:

  • Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor
  • The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of experience as an academically trained radiation oncologist with excellent clinical skills and evidence of the ability and desire to build a practice and think programmatically
  • Experience with SBRT, SRS, IMRT, and IGRT is required
  • Be well versed in the state of cancer care and the latest research and innovations
  • Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O., or equivalent, and must be Board certified/eligible
  • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license

** Base Salary: $300K - $513K (base pay commensurate with qualified academic rank). Additional recruitment incentives available! The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors**
