Responsibilities

Neonatologist Opportunity – Spartanburg, South Carolina

We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well‑established and highly respected team at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

** Position Highlights **

  • Annual deliveries: 3,400–3,900
  • Annual NICU admissions: 370–400
  • Average daily census: 25–29 infants
  • Lead and manage a 35‑bed Level III NICU, providing full‑service neonatal care including:
    • High‑frequency ventilation
    • Therapeutic hypothermia
  • Well‑baby rounding two weeks per month in collaboration with the Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Supportive team structure of 4 Neonatologists:
    • One week on service
    • Every other night call
    • One week off
  • 24/7 NNP coverage
  • Strong subspecialty support including Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, and collaboration with a 3‑physician MFM team
  • A South Carolina medical license is preferred but not required to apply
