Gastroenterology Locum Tenens Opportunity in Massachusetts. Willing to license

A well-established facility in Western Massachusetts is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to assist with a significant colonoscopy backlog starting in October 2025. This is a 1-year locum assignment with a Monday–Thursday schedule, offering consistent, structured work with full clinical support and licensing available for qualified candidates.

Position Details:

• Start Date: On or about October 13, 2025
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8-hour shifts (no Fridays—ANE not available)
• Contract Length: 1-year assignment (Oct 2025 – Oct 2026)
• Setting: Endoscopy suite attached to a hospital (outpatient only)
• Patient Volume: 12–13 screening colonoscopies per 8-hour day
• Procedures: Routine screening colonoscopies only (no EGDs or advanced GI)
• Support Staff: Full clerical team, nursing staff, MAs, and on-site anesthesia
• EMR: Cerner & G-Gastro
• Call Requirements: None
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (per bylaws)
• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in GI
• Licensure: Will wait on Massachusetts license for clean candidates (credentialing in ~90–120 days)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days if licensed; 120 days if licensing needed
• Expenses: All travel expenses covered, but flights are not weekly—typically mid-assignment rotation
• Interview Process: Name clear and submit CV; department will review and coordinate interviews if interested
