Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Otolaryngology and Vascular Anomalies team at Seattle Children’s. This role provides comprehensive outpatient care for pediatric ENT patients while also serving as a key clinical provider within the multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies program. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a wide range of conditions in a fast-paced pediatric specialty clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with ENT and head/neck conditions
- Perform histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Perform outpatient ENT procedures such as microscopy, foreign body removal, cautery, etc.
- Provide longitudinal care for patients with vascular tumors, malformations, and related syndromes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and coordinated care planning
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, specialty teams, nurses, and allied health staff
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinic flow, and program development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP program or graduation from an accredited PA program
- Active Washington licensure as ARNP or PA-C
- National board certification (PNP, FNP, or NCCPA)
- DEA certification (or eligibility)
- Current BLS; PALS accepted depending on clinic requirements
- Minimum one year of pediatric or family-care clinical experience required
- Preferred: two years of pediatric APP experience, ENT or procedural experience, or prior work with complex medical populations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Outpatient specialty clinic setting
- Mix of general ENT and vascular anomalies responsibilities (approx. 50/50 split)
- Independent APP clinics plus collaborative visits with attending specialists
- Weekday schedule with occasional variability based on clinic needs
- Requires flexibility, strong organization, and comfort with diverse patient complexity
