ArchWell Health is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Birmingham, AL.  This is a true outpatient role focused on an adult/Medicare population 60+ — designed for physicians who want to practice high-quality medicine with strong support and a predictable schedule.  This is an exciting opportunity to step into a rewarding role with a growing team at one of our well-established Birmingham locations.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

• No weekends
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
• Outpatient only – no hospital or skilled nursing facility responsibilities
• Minimal call, via phone only and rotates with entire Alabama market physicians
• Dedicated admin time built into schedule
• $20,000+ sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if needed
• Quality metrics-based bonus (not RVU-driven)
• We remove unnecessary work so our physicians can focus on medicine

Practice Model

You will be supported by a dedicated care team, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than administrative burden:

• Medical assistants and center staff
• Care coordination support
• Average 10-14 patients per day upon ramp up
• Emphasis on relationship-based, physician-driven care
• Efficient, cloud-based EHR
• Modern, newly built centers with strong operational support
• Autonomy in customization of patient care, protected clinical judgement

Who We’re Looking For

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
• Comfortable caring for adult and Medicare-aged patients
• Team-oriented with a focus on quality and continuity of care
• Physician must have an active, non-probationary Alabama medical license OR have the ability to obtain a full Alabama medical licensure
