Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has an opportunity for a full-scope orthopedic surgeon with interest and experience in total joint replacement, including revisions, to join a mature and high-performing orthopedic program.

Orthopedic Team

• board-certified orthopedic surgeons
• two advanced practice providers supporting clinic flow, surgical assistance, and patient education
• dedicated orthopedic nursing staff, including a Joint Navigator
• two board-certified podiatrists (foot & ankle), with a high-volume contribution to surgical cases
• two athletic trainers embedded within local high school sports programs

Orthopedic and other Providers appreciate access to:

• three state-of-the-art operation rooms
• 6 on-staff CRNAs
• comprehensive, co-located rehabilitation services
• latest on-site technology, like MRI, CT, mini C-arm
• on-staff radiologist
• 24/7 physician-staffed ER that sees over 11,000 patients annually

Schedule and Call

• 4.5 days between clinic and surgery
• .5 days provided for administrative time
• flexible models that contribute to providing approximately 25% call coverage in each month

​

Compensation

• guaranteed salary minimum of $641,000
• $140,000 in additional bonuses, including: $50,000 signing bonus paid upon execution of contract and $30,000 retention bonus at the conclusion of each 12-month period ($90,000)
• 35 days of paid, allowed time off (ATO) including holidays
• 10 days of paid CME time with $7,500 expense allowance
• paid ND license, DEA and member organization of choice (i.e., ABD)
• malpractice coverage, including tail
• comprehensive health and retirement benefits
• option to pick up additional paid call weekends (Friday – Sunday) - $2,500 each
• open to stipend during completion of training or other arrangements that suit candidate
