How you'll make an impact in this role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant trained in Interventional Radiology to join our team in McMinnville TN. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and review of imaging studies
* Perform pre-procedural evaluations and obtain informed consent for interventional radiology procedures
* Provide post-procedural care and monitoring in recovery areas
* Manage patient care during interventional procedures under physician supervision
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interventional radiology team
* Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedure care
* Assist with minimally invasive procedures including but not limited to:
* Perform minor procedures independently as permitted by state regulations and institutional protocols
* Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience preferred.
