Integrative Medicine Medical Director - New Jersey

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Integrative Health and Medicine Medical Director to join our growing health system. This is an excellent clinical leadership opportunity that will focus on developing high-functioning and high-reliability integrative and inter-professional teams. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and possess strong clinical, leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Provide direct medical care and work collaboratively with Executive and Organizational leadership to establish a system of coordinated, comprehensive integrative care.
• Provide support to the interdisciplinary services for the department including nutrition, acupuncture, health psychology ,health coach and Reiki.
• Lead evidence-based care that supports Triple Aim outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data-driven program design to ensure sustainability and scalability.
• Establish community presence via education, fundraising and community-based care delivery.
• Lead integrative health and medicine educational offerings for patients, the community and healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the development of integrative health and medicine research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
• Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Osteopathy, Specialty Practice
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Integrative Medicine
• Functional Medicine Training (Preferred)
• 2+ years of clinical leadership in Integrative Medicine
• 5+ years experience practicing integrative medicine
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
