Locum Tenens OB/GYN - Clinic + Call

We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide full-time coverage plus call at a well-established practice in VA. This role includes both scheduled clinic hours and call responsibilities, with opportunities for 24-hour call shifts.

Schedule & Coverage Needs

• Full-Time Office Coverage: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Call: 1:6 rotation; covering all OB services on L&D and unassigned OB/GYN hospital call
• Additional Coverage: Up to 8 24-hour call shifts available
• Credentialing: 90–120 days

Practice & Facility Details

• Support Staff: 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
• Patient Volume: ~25 patients/day in clinic
• OB Volume: ~70–75 deliveries/month
• Surgical Volume: ~20–25 non-obstetrical surgeries/month
• Hospital: 146-bed acute-care medical center
• Medical Staff: 280 physicians across multiple specialties

Procedures & Skills Required

• Full OB/GYN core procedures
• Minor GYN surgical
• Experience with deliveries, prenatal care, and gynecologic procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active VA license (no exceptions)
• DEA required
• Preferred Certifications: EFM, NRP, PALS
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience (5+ years preferred)
