  • IU Health and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a vibrant and highly motivated OB Laborist to join our patient-centered obstetric care model. Enjoy working in the new state-of-the-art Riley Children's Maternity Tower that provides private labor and delivery space with access to a full range of maternity options for our patients, from midwives to the most specialized care available in academic setting.     Highlights:

    • 12 or 24-hour shifts as part of a cohesive team to provide continuous coverage of labor and delivery.

    • Call support for IU Health Methodist Ob/gyn

    • Evaluate and manage antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients, assist with obstetric triage and emergencies on the labor and delivery unit, and implement protocols for optimal patient care and quality.

    • Deliveries at the Riley Maternity and Newborn unit with a Level IV NICU; collaboration with nurse midwifery practice, MFM other specialty care.

    • Clinician faculty appointment through Indiana University: teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, some scholarly activity.

    Qualifications:

    • Completion of OB/Gyn residency

    • Board certified/eligible in OB/Gyn

    • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible
