This orthopedic trauma assignment offers dedicated monthly trauma coverage with strong APP support and a focused inpatient practice at a regional Level II Trauma Center.
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient orthopaedic trauma service at a Level II Trauma Center
- Long-bone fractures, open fractures, geriatric fracture care, and trauma stabilization
- Emergency department consults, inpatient rounding, and operative trauma cases
- Dedicated trauma physician assistant support, including weekends
Schedule
- Approximately 10 days of coverage per month
- Morning trauma operating room blocks
- Tuesday and Thursday afternoon clinic coverage
- Dedicated trauma call block structure
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Active Minnesota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- ACLS, ATLS, and DEA required
Logistics
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
- Expedited credentialing available for qualified candidates
