University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established clinic in San Jose, CA.

• Guaranteed Base Salary: Up to $495,000 (2-year guarantee).

Practice Overview

• Setting: Community-based practice model at Cancer Center South Bay.
• Collaboration: Join a team of 9 Hematology/Oncology physicians with close multidisciplinary ties to Radiation Oncology and Surgery.
• Academic Partnership: Partner with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty, including participation in Tumor Boards and clinical research.
• Patient Volume: Average of 18–25 patients per day in clinic.
• Call/Inpatient: Q9 rotating coverage of inpatient consultation services at three local hospitals.
• Support System: Team-based care with NPs/PAs, Infusion RNs, and an on-site Pharmacist. Clinical Advice Services (CAS) triage for after-hour calls. NP/PA support for in-basket work and on-site Bone Marrow biopsies.
• On-site Services: Infusion center, lab, advanced imaging, radiation therapy, and surgery center.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Ability to treat a diverse patient population across a general Hematology/Oncology scope.
• Requires on-site presence in San Jose, CA.
