  • UMC Health System is seeking an interventional radiologist to join a university hospital based practice in Lubbock, Texas.     Job Description:

    ·         50% IR and 50% DR.

    ·         1:6 IR call only.

    ·         No peripheral vascular, neurointerventional or thrombolysis cases.

    ·         APP for thoracentesis, paracentesis and central venous access.

    ·         Top compensation and benefits.

    ·         Hospital employed with full benefits (malpractice, Health care, CME and matching 403B).  

    ·         Equal compensation model.

    ·         Hybrid private practice in a university setting with 14 other radiologists. 5 other IR doctors.

    ·         Mammography not required.

    ·         No travel requirements.

    ·         12 weeks of vacation.

    ·         Work from home 1-2 days per week.

    ·         Home work station provided by UMC at no cost.

    ·         Nighthawk for night service with final reads.

    ·         150K sign on bonus. Residents and Fellows welcome to apply for stipend during training.

    ·         Excellent tort reform in Texas.
