Job Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to join our expanding Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Academic Hospitalist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This position is based at the Froedtert & MCW Birth Center and offers the opportunity to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care within one of Wisconsin’s premier academic medical centers. Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient obstetric care for both high-risk and low-risk patients in a hospitalist model
- Manage emergent gynecologic conditions and perform surgical procedures as needed
- Deliver care within a Level IV Obstetrical Unit directly connected to a Level IV NICU at Children’s Wisconsin
- Collaborate closely with labor and delivery nurses, midwives, attending physicians, and multidisciplinary teams

Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts
- Approximately 14 shifts per month
- Balanced distribution of weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Salaried (Exempt) position

- Froedtert & MCW Birth Center
- Froedtert Emergency Department
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for or currently holding Wisconsin medical licensure
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and academic medicine
