Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to join our expanding Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Academic Hospitalist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This position is based at the Froedtert & MCW Birth Center and offers the opportunity to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care within one of Wisconsin’s premier academic medical centers. Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient obstetric care for both high-risk and low-risk patients in a hospitalist model
• Manage emergent gynecologic conditions and perform surgical procedures as needed
• Deliver care within a Level IV Obstetrical Unit directly connected to a Level IV NICU at Children’s Wisconsin
• Collaborate closely with labor and delivery nurses, midwives, attending physicians, and multidisciplinary teams

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 14 shifts per month
• Balanced distribution of weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Salaried (Exempt) position

• Froedtert Emergency Department

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for or currently holding Wisconsin medical licensure
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and academic medicine
