Penn State Health is currently seeking a full time BC/BE academic core faculty physician for our Family and Community Medicine St. Joseph’s residency program in scenic Reading, Pa.

Our Family and Community Medicine program strives to provide time-sensitive acute and chronic primary care that is comprehensive, compassionate, coordinated and high-quality. We provide a safe, cost-effective environment that is patient-centered for the entire community served by our program. In addition to providing direct patient care, this academic faculty position will participate in educating and training our family medicine residents in a preceptor role, as well as helping to educate our Penn State College of Medicine students.

- Job Requirements:
- Medical degree - MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and unrestricted PA medical license
- Completion of accredited Family Medicine Residency training program
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Board certification/eligibility in family medicine
- Experience in an academic setting preferred
