Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized heart program, currently performing in excess of 1,300 Cardiac anesthesia procedures. Work alongside top-tier cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and anesthesiologists in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity care for patients undergoing a wide range of cardiac procedures, including open-heart surgeries, structural heart procedures, and mechanical circulatory assist.
The Department of Anesthesiology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is composed of 45 anesthesiologists, including 5 cardiac anesthesiologists. We are an academic department with a newly-accredited ACGME residency program in Anesthesiology. Academic appointment is through the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology and Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in TEE
- New Jersey medical license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION:
Starting Base Salary: $459,591

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
