Low Stress High Pay Wound Care

Basic wound care provided for patients at a skilled nursing facility. These shifts are so low stress and well paid that I do them myself between trauma surgery shifts!

Duties simply include evaluating, dressing, basic debridement of wounds and occasional G tube replacements/evaluations. Nursing assistants, and scribing service included. Consistent schedule requested, one weekday/wk. commitment approx. 4-8 hours per day across one or more facilities. Pay varies based on exact facility but most physician’s monthly pay averages $4,000-$5,000/mo working one day a week. Very focused on finding a good fit, someone with strong interpersonal skills, and who enjoys caring for these patients. Full state medical license required. All MDs/DOs comfortable with learning basic wound care are eligible. As a surgeon myself I hate the credentialing process, so we have made on-boarding and credentialing extremely quick and easy. Position is paid as a 1099 contractor, so no automatic taxes like most w-2 jobs, malpractice covered.
