Pediatrician Assignment in California Bay Area

A California-based clinic is currently seeking a Bilingual Pediatrics Physician for a Locum Tenens assignment, aimed at providing top-quality patient care within an underserved community. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact while working with a supportive team.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician
• BLS and DEA certifications required

Schedule:

• Assignment duration: Immediate start with initial 3 or 6-month commitments, and the possibility to extend
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 32-40 hours per week

Practice Setting:

• Setting: Outpatient
• Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
• Patient Ages: birth-18 years
• Support Staff: Includes Medical Assistants, a referral department, and care navigators
• EMR/Charting: NextGen

Cases & Procedures:

• The role involves postnatal care, well child visits, immunizations, routine checkups, chronic disease management, and teen services
• Specialists are available on-site at the FQHC for additional support
