Internal Medicine or NP Locums - Iowa, Outpatient Only

Outpatient primary care locums near Cedar Rapids; no call, no procedures, and fast credentialing.

Highlights:

• No call or weekends
• Full-time or 4-day workweeks
• Credentialing in 30 days

Practice Setting:

• Medicare-focused outpatient clinic (65+ population)
• Team-based model: MDs, NPs, MAs, RNs, scribes
• EMR: Canopy/Greenway
• No procedures required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8a–5p
• 4-day weeks accepted
• Initial 3-month contract with option to extend

Cases and Procedures:

• Manage 16–18 patients/day
• Typical internal medicine: diabetes, HTN, CHF, cognitive decline
• Adult patients only

Requirements:

• MD or NP with active Iowa license
• Must be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid
• NPs must be certified in family medicine (FNP only)

Travel Accommodations:

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
